Redskins Men's A-Grade players Josh Hall and Michael Law have been named in one of the three Queensland Men's Open sides to play in Touch Football Australia's new Elite 8 Series, which will be held at next years National Touch League in Port Macquarie. The pair will play alongside fellow Townsville player Riki Best and former Redskins player Gian Guerra, along with national identities Gavin Shuker and Drummayne Dayberg-Muir, in the inaugural top-tier NTL division. Luke Abel and Nick Laskey from Redskins, along with former Redskins player Kristian Congoo, have been named as shadow players for the four Queensland sides. The Elite 8 Series has been created as a result of the Touch Football Australian National Events Commission recommendation that a competition for elite players be created. More information about the series can be found on the Touch Football Australia website - www.austouch.com.au. Redskins.com.au would like to congratulate all players on being selected to represent their state. |
